Application: Drilling, tapping, reaming, boring, hobbing, broaching, cutting, milling, grinding, pressing, rolling and others. Suitable for use with all types of metal. Templex™ has also proved itself in the machining of plastics and other synthetic materials.
Note: Templex is our best all-round product for machining ALL materials. Our best product for predominantly machining Stainless Steel is Silkut1000, which can be found in our other ranges of tapping compounds, fluids and sprays (Stainless Steels generate a high volume of heat when machining due to their tensile strength and require lubricants with extremely high EP content). The downside to High EP additive tapping fluids and compounds is that it is not light enough to be good at machining soft materials like brass and aluminium. For this reason, Templex is our first choice recommendation for ALL material types and is our most popular fluid.
