These holders are designed for Swiss and Automatic Lathes. Swiss turning (also known as Swiss machining), is a CNC machining process performed on a high precision lathe designed specifically to produce intricate and small parts with a high tolerance. Unlike toolholders for general lathes, Automatic / Swiss style holders tend to be longer and are more compact.
Toolholder Features
This toolholder features a pocket where a torx screw secures the insert. Some holders have an additional shim/seat and shim screw (these holders can be determined by the spares list below).
