Unimaster Miniature Tool Holder Features
This holder is designed to hold our range of miniature solid carbide turning tools for machining small bores. These tools can be used for applications such as: Boring & Profiling; Square Grooving; Round Grooving; Face Grooving; Threading; and Chamfering.
The holder can be held in the machine on its outside diameter or clamped across the flats. Miniature tools are installed into the holder bore, where an internal location pin ensures the tool's correct orientation and positioning. A set screw can then be tightened on the side of the holder to secure the selected miniature tool.
Coolant can be supplied via the rear diameter of the holder, along its length and is accurately delivered from 2 slots either side of the cutting tool. Please see images in the above description for further illustration.
