About our HSS Taps Box Sets
We are proud to supply our range of British manufactured HSS hand taps and dies. These high quality and durable taps and dies, are ideal for general engineers, jobbing shops, production facilities, model engineers, hobbyists and mechanics.
This set of taps contains of the most common metric coarse sizes (M3 - M12) and consists of the 3 cutting leads that make up a general set (Taper, Second and Plug). They also come in a sturdy metal box that when opened displays the taps in a convenient layout visually and for access.
In comparison to our Carbon Tap range, these taps and dies have a Higher tolerance & Longer tool life (better suited for larger/production volumes of use).
