About our Thread Repair Kits
Quick and easy method for repairing stripped or damaged sump plug threads.
Method:
- Rethread the damaged hole using Hex tap supplied. This can be done with spanner or ratchet socket.
- Clear cutting debris from and around hole.
- Fit retaining ring supplied to a new Hex plug from the kit.
- Tighten with spanner (enough to create a seal).
