About our Anti-Vibration Interchangeable Boring Heads
If you are having trouble with chatter or holding accuracy while turning in a deep bore, our Europa QuietBore system is ideal for you. This system is modular:
- Where length is the biggest issue - Select the shank to get the working length you require. Then the interchangeable head to suit
- Where bore diameter is restrictive - Select the head based on minimum bore diameter. Then select from one of the mating shanks to determine the working length.
This system is compatible with some other market leaders meaning you can fit the QuietBore interchangeable heads to their respective shanks or Their interchangeable heads to the Quietbore mating shanks.
Boring Head Features
This boring bar features a shim/seat (retained by a shim pin) and has a Lever Lock clamping mechanism to secure the insert. The L-shaped lever grips the centre hole of the insert from underneath and draws it into the corner of the pocket when the lever screw is tightened. Base of all our interchangable heads features a spigot that centralises the head (with the matching Anti-Vibration shank) and serrations that prevent any form of rotation of the head within the bar.
