Takes a tangential insert with 4 Cutting edges for a multitude of applications. The difference between a conventional and a tangential insert is that, rather than cutting across the face of the insert, a tangential insert is end-on cutting. This is highly beneficial, as a tangential insert can both handle significantly greater cutting forces and have a more positive cutting action than a conventional face cutting insert.
